Project Manager and Superintendent

As a Project Manager and Superintendent with 15 years experience in construction, Abran has been involved in all facets of the construction process.  As a Superintendent, Abran’s responsibilities include familiarity and dissemination of the drawings, planning procedures for construction based on starting and completion times, staffing requirements for each phase of construction, subcontractor and material coordination, knowledge of available tools and equipment and various building methods, and inspection of the work to insure high quality standards and conformance with the contract documents.  Some of Abran’s past Superintendent experience has been on the University of Virginia at Wise’s football stadium facilities, completed in the fall of 2004.

Currently working as a project manager, Abran’s responsibilities include developing estimates, construction schedules, coordinating submittals, project record and closeout documentation, inspections, compliance with specifications and design documents, project meetings, and relations with clients.

Abran has attended several continued education classes and professional seminars in order to remain on pace with the forever evolving construction industry. He has participated in the LEED Professional Accreditation Program and has received the Green Building Institute's LEED Accredited Professional certification.
